There are several situations in which the problem of water infiltration in underground walls and in the subsoil in general (caused by many factors: rainwater, groundwater, plant and sewage losses, etc),

presents particular intervention difficulties resulting in a difficult solution, such as the difficulty in reaching the area that is the cause of the possible defect, when the path of water infiltration divides into various diversified branches, and many other circumstances still. In these particular cases, traditional waterproofing systems and techniques are not able to fully solve the problem, obtaining complete and satisfactory results.

The precise knowledge of the behavior of special hydro-expansive polyurethane resins and of the technical specifications that these products make available, allows the most suitable intervention protocol to be adopted in all circumstances, in order to properly graduate and distribute the necessary devices to waterproof by injection, after careful preparation of the intervention areas, the water spills.

These special resins, produced and distributed by Azichem since 1987 in thousands of applications, are the SYNTECH HAG FLEX and SYNTECH HAG ECO.

The SYNTECH HAG technology consists in realizing, by means of the injection of polyurethane hydroexpansive resins, a waterproof barrier in the cracked structure, grainy by “honeycomb” in concrete or simple infiltration.

Polyurethane resins are supplied in two formulations of different expansion capacity. They are injected at the identified points, detected by means of diversified injection schemes appropriate to the different contexts, through specific “flat head” metal injectors until they definitively block all the water access routes. Water infiltrations from cracks with negative thrust, formwork spacers, connections between floor and wall, rigid or expansion joints, honeycomb, through pipes, from polystyrene predalles floors, will no longer be a problem.

Products and technologies to use

Certainly decisive remediation interventions related to lateral water infiltrations are represented by special one-component hydro-expansive polyurethane resins, which can be added with an expansion accelerator, to be injected at the pre-established points in the walls through specific rubber/steel injectors.

Perfect for filling and sealing small cavities, joints and discontinuities subject to movement.

Perfect for filling large voids and loose stone foundations inside the walls.

Mono-component, enabled for contact with drinking water, semi-flexible, expanding (increases its initial volume of about 20 times) polyurethane resin, free from solvents, perfect for sealing small and large water leaks in the concrete or in solid masonry in general by injection. SYNTECH HAG CLEANER

Cleaning agent specific for the necessary equipment during operations of injections to stop the infiltration of water in the buildings. Oily rinsing detergent, low toxicity, high solvent capacity for non-hardened polyurethanes, to clean and lubricate the internal pumping hydraulic circuits of both manual and electric pumps. It replaces acetone, methylene chloride and other detergents commonly used.

Equipped with a “flat head” with non-return valve, it is used in conjunction with the SYNTECH HAG CONNETTORE.
